WELCOME TO NK.

When Josef Sachs founded Nordiska Kompaniet in 1902 his ambition was to create a commercial and cultural theater. Still the aim is to be a stage for the present and to offer our customers the most inspiring environment for shopping and experiences.

Nordiska Kompaniet currently consists of two department stores, one in Stockholm and one in Gothenburg. The brand NK and the department store buildings in Stockholm and Gothenburg are owned by Hufvudstaden AB. In 2009 NK:s total sale was 2 667 million, and the two department stores employ about 1 200 people. NK Stockholm has around 9.5 million visitors annually, and the corresponding numbers for Gothenburg is just over 3 million.
