At NK there is always something going on. We put effort in making exciting and inspiring events for you to enjoy. The department store is our stage and in the spotlight are our products. On special occasions the department store is transformed with decorations and breathtaking installations. Our aim is always to make your shopping experience a pleasant memory. 

TREND LEADING, INSPIRING AND STYLISH.

These three words form a common compass towards our goal. They should permeate both the brand NK as well as the in store experience. We want all our visitors to feel this in our environment, range, service and communication. The experiences gathered over 100 years gives us a solid foundation to build on and makes it easier to give you the most delightful and promising visit. 

ALL ABOUT THE LATEST TRENDS.

NK give great attention to highlight emerging trends and is often a venue for launches and premieres. This applies not only to fashion. For example, it was NK who first introduced frozen vegetables, Barbie dolls, jeans and CD:s for the Swedes. NK offers several unique introductions of jewellry, perfumes, accessories and signings from major artists. Brand new items and products based on changing habits have always been part of NK:s philosophy. And the story will continue...

CUTTING-EDGE RANGE.

It is the rare and top class products that distinguish NK from other venues. It may be a product which is trendy or en exklusive brand. However, it doesn't always have to be the most expensive products. NK Mint (Chocolate) is an example of a cutting-edge product, as well as unique services that specializes in lingerie, tailoring or personal styling. Other examples are NK Saluhall, NK Konfektyr and NK Manlig Depå that offer a selected range fine food and fashion.  

QUALITY PRODUCTS AND SERVICES.

Nordiska Kompaniet should always consist of a wide range of areas such as fashion, accessories, interior design and food, as well as services such as tailoring, shoe makers, cafés and restaurants. The idea is to make NK a natural meeting place in town.

FULL-PRICE STRATEGY.

In line with the quality range NK works by a full-price strategy. The customer must be confident that a newly purchased product is not sold at discounted prices next week. This means that NK is very restrictive in use of reduced prices and discount rates - particularly in advertising.

CONSISTENCY.

All communication in the department store, from the information boards to cash receipts and packing follow the same expression. The harmonic interaction between the departments create a comfortable and common environment. However, NK let each department evolve its own originality and personality.

A SECURE PURCHASE.

Our customers should always feel they are getting value for their money and are treated fairly, therefore, all departments at NK offer a 30-day return promise. The departments also share a common set of service functions, such as duty free sales, customer service and information desk.
